This is to let you know what’s happening till the end of the year.

This Thursday, December 22, 2011, Dean Rosenthal’s 4piece Racket will be opening for the Jello Boys @ the 8×10 in Baltimore.  This show will be alot of fun ’cause we’ve all known each other for years, plus we’ll be performing @ our old friends, Abbie & Brian’s famous club.  We hope our friends fom Baltimore can make it out. (Dean, Jimmy, Rurik & Clark Matthews.)

Friday, December 23, 2011, the 4piece Racket will play our last show of 2011 @ the Rams Head Roadhouse in Crownsville.  To all the friends we haven’t seen in awhile…please come out to this gig  We would like to see you!  It’s the holidays !!!  Come get some holiday up in yer face!  Dean, Jimmy, Rurik & Andy Hamburger.  Plus, who knows who’ll show up to play? It is a Dean Rosenthal party!

After Christmas, I’ll be playing two solo shows – Thursday before New Year’s Eve (in other words December 29, 2011), I will be opening for Southside Johnny @ the Birchmere.  This is the first time I have performed at this well known D.C./Baltimore venue and I’m really looking forward to it! This will be the 3rd time I’ve opened for Southside Johnny, but the first time @ the Birchmere. It would be nice to have some friends there rooting for me!

Then, on New Year’s Eve, I will be playing a solo set on a showcase w/Annapolis friends, Jimi (Haha) Davies & Pete Best (peterbuilt) @ Griffins West (West Street and Route 2) Annapolis.  Each of us will play solo w/me starting. 8-8:15 p.m. Early! Short & sweet!

As you may have heard, I’m gonna be slowing down after the 1st of the year..till my health is a little kinder to me.  I’ll still be out playin’ w/ friends & opening for other bands …just not doing the 10 till 2 for a while. ….

I will be open for guitar lessons to anyone interested…beginners, blues, country, folk, opening tunings & slide….to help keep some money coming in…
